What we process
PasteJD processes the job description and resume text you submit to create your tailored application. The raw text is sent to OpenAI for generation but is not written to PasteJD’s database.
What we retain
We temporarily store the generated draft, a random draft identifier, payment-unlock status, first-party product events, and one-way abuse-prevention identifiers derived from network and browser signals. Product events can include a random per-tab session identifier, the first PasteJD path and campaign parameters, the referring site’s hostname, and Stripe transaction identifiers, amount, currency, and live-mode status. Obvious email, phone, and address query fields are redacted before storage. Generated drafts and their attribution context expire after seven days; product events expire after 90 days. We do not intentionally store raw resumes, job descriptions, raw IP addresses, personal contact details for analytics, advertising profiles, or account passwords.
Service providers
OpenAI processes text generation under its API data policies. Stripe processes checkout, payment, and receipt information under Stripe’s privacy terms. These providers receive only the information needed for their role.
Security and your choices
Secrets remain server-side, checkout is hosted by Stripe, and paid drafts are released only after server-side payment verification. Avoid submitting information you do not need in the final application. You can close the page without purchasing; the temporary generated draft will expire automatically.
